Caldwell Plays Basie with the Buffalo Jazz Collective Repertory Orchestra | 
Artistic Director, George Caldwell, leads the BJC Repertory Orchestra in an afternoon of the music of the Count Basie Orchestra. For over 30 years, George has toured the world with groups such as the Count Basie Orchestra and Duke Ellington Orchestra and has performed with an extensive list of legendary artists that includes Dizzy Gillespie, Bobby McFerrin, and Nancy Wilson. The Buffalo Jazz Collective Repertory Orchestra is a newly formed group of young professional jazz musicians in the Western New York area.

After the concert there will be a short intermission and reception. At 4:30 pm we will be hosting a Martin Luther King Jr celebration in partnership with the Afro-American Historical Society of the Niagara Frontier. All are welcome to attend this free lecture!
