Unveiling: of the 2' clay model of the proposed downtown Buffalo Nikola Tesla statue designed by Larry Griffis III to be located at the corner of Main and N. Division adjacent to the M&T headquarters plaza.

Screening:  Nikola Tesla Orientation Film (By permission of Dr. Branimir Jovanovic,the director of the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade.)  A very special opportunity to view the film (in English) shown at the Nikola Tesla Museum that is rarely shown outside the museum.

Lecture: The Spiritual Character of Nikola Tesla; Historical Aspects and Contemporary Context, Oliver Subotic Ph.D 

Nikola Tesla's spirituality is a little known yet important area of research for understanding the cosmic thinking of this visionary genius who patented hundreds of inventions including the AC power system as first demonstrated between Niagara Falls and Buffalo on November 16,  1896.

Dr. Subotic's Biography
Presbyter Oliver Subotic was born in Nova Varos (Serbia) in 1977. He graduated in information technologies (2004) and in orthodox theology (2005), both at Belgrade University. His PhD degree fr. Oliver received in sociology (2011). For the last decade he is an Editor-in-chief of Pravoslavni misionar, official missionary journal of Serbian Orthodox Church (SOC). After foundation of SOC's Missionary Department he became the deputy of the bishop in charge for that organizational structure. Fr. Oliver was the first director of SOC's Centre for research and appliance of contemporary technologies (2008-2015). He was engaged as a consultant for enhancing the quality of religious education in Belgrade high schools (2008-2014). In the last 18 years, he published ten books, covering relations between the orthodox theology and IT, globalization and mas-media. Fr. Oliver Subotic lives in Belgrade, where he serves as an orthodox priest in Zarkovo. He is the father of two children.
