In partnership with the Colored Musicians Club, the Jewish Community Center is proud to present a special program about the life and music of Harold Arlen. Born on Buffalo’s East Side in 1905, Arlen took the sounds of the synagogue, his neighborhood, and the music of the clubs and created more than 400 songs over a 50-year span including Over the Rainbow. Enjoy live music by members of the George Scott Big Band and an archival exhibit.
