Junior History Buffs
01/19/2024 @ 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
An event every month that begins at 10:00 a.m. on day Third of the month, repeating until 03/15/2024
Junior History Buffs is a program at The Buffalo History Museum that engages children in age-appropriate history lessons, songs, stories, crafts and games. Children will sing songs, interact with artifacts and learn about local history through demonstrations and interactive activities. This program takes place every third Friday from 10AM to 2PM. In December, we will focus on various holiday traditions celebrated in the Buffalo area with a lesson about religious holidays and a holiday-themed craft!
Through the sponsorship of M&T Bank, we can offer this program on Third Fridays for free. The program is created for 4-9 year olds, but all children are welcome. No registration is required. Doors open at 10AM and Circle Time with music, lesson and story starts at 10:30 AM in the Auditorium. Other activities like crafts and games will take place from 10AM-2PM.
This free admission day is made possible through the generosity of M&T Bank.
