Did you know that Abraham Lincoln was in WNY on several occasions during and after his lifetime? Join The Buffalo History Museum, the Buffalo Civil War Roundtable, The Buffalo Presidential Center, and Union Volunteers Fife and Drum Corps for the longest running celebration of President Lincoln’s birthday in the nation!

This year marks 150 years since Buffalo pharmacist Julius Francis first commemorated President Lincoln’s birthday in the first such posthumous celebration in the United States. This event includes a  “Lincoln in Buffalo” program presented by Buffalo Presidential Center Vice President Bren Price, a Lincoln reenactor delivering the 16th president’s words, and uniformed Civil War reenactors performing a rifle salute.  Enjoy a piece of complimentary birthday cake!

COST: FREE!
