The Museum has spaces available in its State Court, Auditorium (with audio and visual equipment), Mezzanine, and Board Room for private and professional events. Events that are not catered are managed directly through the Museum.
Photos outside the Museum’s building are free of charge. Photography sessions inside the Museum’s spaces such as the State Court, Mezzanine, or stairs are $35 per half hour and can be reserved through the Museum.
Any photography inquiries for the Japanese Garden should be directed to the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy.
The Museum’s iconic building and surrounding views from the Japanese Garden make it an idyllic destination. Starting on December 1, 2022, all weddings and catered events are managed through Tappo at the Museum, the exclusive caterer of The Buffalo History Museum.
