Happy Hour History: An Evening With Mayor Masiello

05/29/2024 @ 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Twelve years is a long time for anyone to hold a single elected office, and Tony Masiello did it twice. He was a member of the New York State Senate from 1981 to 1993, and served as the Mayor of Buffalo from 1993 to 2005. In addition, Tony was a member of the Buffalo Common Council for about 10 years during most of the 1970s. Masiello will be sharing his memories of an eventful political life at 6 p.m. on May 29 at the Buffalo History Museum. He’ll be speaking with Budd Bailey, the host of a speaker series that is sponsored by the Western New York chapter of Mensa. The interview will be followed by a question-and-answer session with the audience.

$10 admission/free for members of the Buffalo History Museum and Mensa.
