The Buffalo History Museum, in partnership with Buffalo United for Peace, will present Silent Screams of Women, a traveling human rights exhibition on view April 12 through May 2, 2026. The exhibition features 30 memory objects from women and children who have faced persecution in Turkey, sharing powerful, personal stories of political imprisonment, displacement, and resilience. Created by Advocates of Silenced Turkey in 2022, the exhibition uses artifacts and firsthand accounts to preserve voices that have long been silenced.
