While a student at Buffalo’s Park School in 1975, Charles Hahn chose to photograph West Chippewa Street for a school project. Today—nearly fifty years later—his photos of of the street, its scenes and people, stand in marked contrast to the highly developed entertainment district we know today and call attention to our not-so-distant past. The display also features present-day photos that offer a “then and now” contrast of one of Buffalo’s most recognizable streets. Join us for this exhibit that’s nearly 50 years in the making!
